Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to landscape construction. This is a physically demanding role that requires manual labor and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Sod installation; grading topsoil
- Plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Assist with the installation of irrigation systems and ensure proper functioning
- Operate hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks
- Assist with the construction of landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Dig trenches and prepare soil for planting
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols
Requirements:
- Previous experience in landscaping or related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time
- Basic mechanical knowledge for operating power tools
- Knowledge of hand tools commonly used in landscaping
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
