Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, gardening, and construction, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of outdoor spaces.
Duties
- Ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for gardening activities such as planting, weeding, and mulching.
- Operate skidsteers and other machinery for landscaping projects as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently and effectively.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating Skidsteers and other landscaping machinery an asset but not required ( will train for the right candidate).
- Knowledge of horticulture, and landscape maintenance practices.
- Experience with gardening techniques and plant care.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in landscaping work.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 55 per week
