Job Summary:
We are seeking a Landscape Laborer to join our team. As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to landscape maintenance and construction. This is a hands-on position that requires physical labor and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging
- Assist with garden maintenance including planting, weeding, and mulching
- Operate power tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
- Assist in the construction of landscape features such as pathways, retaining walls, and fences
- Use hand tools to complete tasks such as pruning, raking, and spreading soil or mulch
- Use tools above head for cleaning or working on gutters, siding, and windows
- Must be able to work on ladders and roofs safely
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting and repairs
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks efficiently
-Be able to lift 50+lbs on a regular basis
Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
