Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a desire to contribute to creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various physical tasks that require attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Duties
- Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools for landscaping tasks.
- Build and maintain various landscape features, including gardens, pathways, and irrigation systems.
- Dig, plant, and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants.
- Perform regular landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and mulching.
- Assist in the installation of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Follow safety protocols while working with equipment and in outdoor environments.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools related to landscaping.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Ability to build and maintain landscape features with precision.
- Experience in irrigation techniques for effective garden maintenance.
- Capability to dig and prepare soil for planting.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices to ensure healthy plant growth.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
