Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various physical tasks, including the use of power tools and hand tools, to ensure the upkeep and enhancement of gardens and outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for landscape maintenance tasks.
- Perform digging, planting, pruning, and weeding to maintain gardens and landscaped areas.
- Build and install landscape features such as flower beds, retaining walls, and pathways.
- Assist in the irrigation of plants and lawns to ensure proper water distribution.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by removing debris and ensuring tools are stored properly.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Follow safety protocols while working with mechanical equipment and in various weather conditions.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- A willingness to learn new skills related to gardening, irrigation systems, and landscape design is essential.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while performing physically demanding tasks.
