Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, construction, and horticulture, requiring both physical stamina and mechanical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution.
- Participate in planting, pruning, and caring for trees, shrubs, and flowers as part of gardening efforts.
- Conduct excavation work as needed for landscape construction projects.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with operating excavators and other heavy machinery is a plus.
- Basic mechanical knowledge related to the upkeep of landscaping equipment is beneficial.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction is essential.
