Cedar Crest Lands (Alta.) Ltd. is looking for hard working, good quality people to join our team. Cedar Crest Lands is a landscape construction contractor with a wide range of projects in and around Calgary. These sites include parks, sports fields, playgrounds, riverbank stabilizations, land reclamation, revegetation, naturalization projects, as well as a wide range of landscaping projects within new residential developments.
General duties for this position include but are not limited to:
Raking topsoil
Laying sod
Planting trees and shrubs
General landscaping tasks
Site cleanup
Candidate requirements:
Have the ability to work in a team environment
Willing to work overtime (overtime paid after 8 hours per day and 44 hours per week).
Typically working 10-12 hours Monday - Saturday (Saturday is a partial day) weather depending.
Complete physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
Must be at least 18 years of age
Candidates must have own transportation to get to various project sites throughout the construction season or have access to transit to meet at our shop location.
