Job Description
What you are responsible for:
- Sorting different types of non-ferrous metals;
- Classifying non-ferrous metals and determining the type of material;
- Weighing the material;
- Operating the forklift;
- Performing daily maintenance;
- Carrying out general site maintenance;
- Keeping property and equipment in good condition;
- Cleaning your workspace at the end of the shift;
- Entering data into the RECY system;
- Offering prices to customers;
- Providing excellent customer service;
- Assisting with torch cutting when needed;
- Preparing shipments and receiving materials;
- Wearing personal protective equipment.
Qualifications

- You have experience operating a forklift (an asset);
- You have experience in metal recycling (an asset);
- You have good knowledge of metals (an asset);
- You are able to work in a dusty environment;
- You are able to work outdoors in all weather conditions;
- You are in good physical shape;
- You work safely;

- You have good teamwork skills;
- You are punctual and diligent.
