Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer/Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various tasks across multiple projects, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be reliable, possess a strong work ethic, and be willing to learn on the job. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Duties:
- - Assist with general labor tasks including heavy lifting and moving materials. Duties will include digging, jack hammering, mixing and placing concrete.
- - such as vacuuming, mopping, sanitising, tidying up, laundry, steam cleaning, making beds and other misc. cleaning duties.
- , such as clearing snow, weeding, fertilizing, mowing lawn, pruning, herbicide application, etc.
- - picking up materials and other errand duties.
- : Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various maintenance and repair tasks. Cleaning gutters from ladder, changing out locks, installing curtain hardware, etc. Painting: scraping, sanding, surface prep, painting, etc.
Required attributes:
- Driver’s license with good driver’s abstract
- Current and cleared criminal record check.
- Comfortable working at heights / ladders
- Work in challenging environments (crawl spaces, flooded properties, dirty areas)
- High level of fitness and stamina
