Position Summary
We’re hiring a full-time Labourer / Delivery Driver who is self-motivated, physically fit, and experienced in local deliveries. You’ll be responsible for transporting materials to job sites, with frequent physical labour (including hand-bombing) required.
Responsibilities
- Operate a single-axle straight truck, flat-deck, or tandem truck (depending on license)
- Deliver lumber and construction materials to job sites across Calgary and nearby areas
- Perform hot shot deliveries when needed
- Load and unload materials (by hand or with forklift assistance)
- Communicate effectively with the team and customers
- Follow safety procedures and traffic regulations
- Keep accurate delivery records
Requirements
- Class 5 driver’s license (for straight truck/flat-deck)
- OR Class 3 driver’s license with experience operating a tandem with Moffett (truck-mounted forklift — not warehouse forklift)
- Clean driving record (must provide a claims experience letter covering the last 3 years)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving/delivery experience
- Able to lift 50 lbs+ and perform physically demanding work
- Familiarity with Calgary and surrounding areas is a strong asset
- Fluent in English (verbal and written communication)
