Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a passion for hospitality. As the Kitchen Supervisor, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation meets our high standards of quality and safety. You will play a key role in managing the kitchen staff, coordinating food service activities, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow during meal preparation and service.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- A background in hospitality is an asset, emphasizing customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50-$19.00 per hour
