We’re looking for a hands-on, people-first Kitchen Leader to run the show at the Blue Truck Grill at our Home Office Campus. This isn’t just about cooking—it’s about creating an awesome experience for our Team Members and customers, leading a crew with a “Can Do” attitude, and serving up good food at great prices. You’ll also keep things safe, clean, and running smoothly behind the scenes.
This position is based in our beautiful Home Office, which is located at 475 Panet Road, in Winnipeg.
A few things we’re looking for:
- Post-Secondary education in Culinary Arts
- Current Food Handler’s and Smart Choices certificates
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- 3+ years’ experience in a Chef position preferred in addition to experience as a Sous Chef or Line Cook
- 3+ years' experience in a back-of-house management position
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach/mentor
- Extensive knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
- Understanding of purchase principles
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
