We are seeking a Kitchen Helper to join our team in the food service industry. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a kitchen environment and be able to assist with various tasks related to food preparation and service.
Duties:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and mixing ingredients
- Help with cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils
- Assist with plating and serving dishes
- Follow all food safety guidelines when handling and preparing food
- Help with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Assist with banquet or catering events as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food handling safety guidelines
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen staff
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed
