We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic culinary team. The Kitchen Helper plays a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly. Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients under the guidance of cooks and chefs.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Ensure that all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Support cooks in assembling dishes and plating food for service.
- Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Participate in maintaining a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen assistance is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus.
- Experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting will be beneficial.
