Job Summary
We are seeking a kitchen helper/dishwasher to assist our team in a busy bakery.

The right candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to take direction, and communicate clearly and kindly with others.
Responsibilities
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Wash, store, fill, and butter delicate moulds.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting shortages.
- Work quickly, efficiently, and safely.
- Assist with various preparation tasks to support Prep Staff and Bakers.
- Support other kitchen staff as needed to ensure efficient operations during busy periods.
- Be enthusiastic about the bakery's success.
Skills
- Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations. Open to obtaining a FoodSafe certificate.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining cleanliness and order.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and understand instructions from staff and coworkers.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to baking and food service.
