As a member of our culinary team, you will provide the highest quality of customer service at all times, while preparing and cooking meals requiring short preparation time, including:
Reading food orders/receiving verbal instructions on meal required by customer and preparing accordingly
Following basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other foods
Preparing food by operating a variety of kitchen equipment, measure/mix ingredients, washing, peeling, cutting, and shredding fruits/vegetables, trimming and cutting meat, poultry, or fish for culinary use
Tasting products, reading menus, estimating food requirements, checking production and keeping records to accurately plan production requirements, supplies, and equipment
Maintaining a clean and sanitized work station and following all Sodexo, client, and regulatory rules and health/safety procedures
Completing all HACCP required paperwork, inventory
Shipping & receiving
Dishroom duties as per needed
Working a grill or other front of the house line over lunch, interacting and dealing with the public
Other general duties as needed
Applicant must be bilingual (French and English) to be accepted for this position
Growth and Development
High School diploma or equivalent
One year of experience preferred
Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, willing to go beyond the basics
Ability to calculate numbers and effectively communicate accounting policies/procedures to customer
Personal and professional integrity, appearance, and demeanor
