The North Sports Bar is a popular, high-energy neighbourhood pub located in Crescent Heights. Known for great food, cocktails, and a fun atmosphere, we’re looking to add a dependable Part-Time Dishwasher to our back-of-house team.
Position Overview:
The Dishwasher plays a key support role in keeping our kitchen moving smoothly during busy shifts. You’ll be responsible for cleaning and organizing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools — ensuring our line cooks have everything they need to execute service efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, and utensils using commercial equipment
- Keep dish pit and kitchen areas clean, organized, and safe
- Take out garbage and recycling as required
- Assist with general cleaning and kitchen tasks as needed
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
Requirements:
- Evening and weekend availability (mandatory)
- Ability to work on your feet and lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the team
- Prior kitchen experience is an asset, but not required
