We are hiring Kitchen Staff who are passionate about providing excellent customer service and working in a fast-paced environment. Kitchen Staff responsibilities includes providing assistance with the preparation of food and are responsible for maintaining cleanliness of dishes, work stations, and food storage facilities. To be successful as kitchen staff, you should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask without sacrificing accuracy in your work. Top-notch candidates will be able to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
Your goal will be to provide a high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.
Daily responsibilities will include the following:
· Ensure that all dishes are washed and put away in a safe and organized manner.
· Assisting with general cleaning of the back of house areas.
· Receiving and storing food and beverages supplies.
· Always ensure a sanitary and tidy work environment.
· Following daily opening and closing procedures.
· Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils and appliances.
· Memorize, record and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions.
· Prepare all served food.
· Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistent quality.
· Help plan menu items and costing of food.
· Monitor food and other supplies.
· Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
· Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
· Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields.
· Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to work well in teams.
· Patience and a customer-oriented approach.
