We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will assist with daily operations, ensuring that all pets receive the attention and care they need while maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, medications and supervising playgroups.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management.
- Assist with customer service duties, including greeting clients and answering questions about services.
- Help with the intake and discharge process of pets
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both animals and staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in animal care or a related field is required.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare is crucial for success in this role.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
