Location/Region: This position is located in Toronto.

What’s the role?
The Sales Coordinator processes customer sales orders. Additionally, the Sales Coordinator provides invaluable support to our field sales team by managing enquiries about inventory levels, lead times, and logistics.

Here’s what you’ll do:
  • Promptly answer incoming internal and customer phone and email enquiries in English and French.
  • Convert CRM sales quotations prepared and submitted by our field Sales representatives into sales orders placed with our factories.
  • Act as liaison between Customers / Sales Rep’s / Factories / Logistics Providers to ensure successful execution of customer orders.
  • Monitor open orders and provide timely communication and action until orders are closed.
  • Coordinate with the Master Data team to ensure accuracy of the CRM databases.
  • Help manage inventory levels to support sales initiatives and demonstration activities.
  • Document sales orders and ensure compliance with SOP’s.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide back-up to the Service Coordinators as needed.
  • Other duties as required
Do you qualify?
  • Previous working experience in customer service, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
  • Must be highly organized, be able to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Working knowledge in MS Office applications Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Experience working in an SAP system would be preferable.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work closely with other departments.
  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in business would be preferable.
