JOURNEY PERSON PIPEFITTER (4 positions available)
SHIFT : Day Shift ONLY
10 hours per day
ROTATION: 2 weeks in/1 week out
LOCATION: McIlvenna Bay, SK

SUMMARY
Journeyperson Pipefitter - Required to layout, assembly, install and maintenance piping systems, pipe supports and related industrial production and processing systems.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Read, interpret and red-line construction drawings and blueprints, technical drawings and complex instructions (Isometrics, P&ID’s, etc.)
- Assemble piping and valves
- HDPE Fusing experience preferred
- Hydrotest, assemble and install pipe spools in the fabrication facility
- Measure, cut, and thread pipe to required shape
- Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
- Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system
- Work as an integral part of a team
- Demonstrate commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safe work practices
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education
· Must possess a valid Journeyperson Pipefitter ticket issued by the appropriate provincial or federal authority
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
· Must have Working at Heights and Confined Space current Certifications; preferred Rigging and Hoisting, MEWP or Telehandler Certifications
· Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
· Must be willing to travel to client’s site (CAMP job)
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and stand for long periods of time
· Developed analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
· Ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints
