Position Details
Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Journeyperson & Apprentice Pipefitters for work near Abbotsford, BC.
- Schedule Rotation: 10 days on 4 days off
- Wage: $27.58 - $45.96
- Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement
What You Will Be Working On
- Process piping and equipment installations
- Threading, Cutting, Grooving, Bending, Measuring of piping
- Working with plans and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements
- Hydrostatic testing of installed piping systems
- Ensuring safe work practices, EH&S processes, and OH&S compliance are followed on site
What We Are Looking For
- Valid Apprentice/ Journeyperson Certificate
- CSTS 2020/Site Ready BC
- WHMIS 2015
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
- Experience on major industrial project sites
- The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
- Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
