We are looking for an IT Support Specialist for a 6 month contract position to join our busy Future Transfer team!
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to staff on hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Set up accounts and user profiles
- Run reports of data visualization to determine efficiency of technical processes
- Provide system administration and maintenance
- Respond to and diagnose technical hardware and software issues
- Create and maintain documentation of technical processes
- Follow up with users to ensure their technical issues have been resolved
- Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration
- Other duties or projects, as required
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail & time management skills
- Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex IT challenges
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration and user support
- Knowledge of Windows Azure and Power BI programs
- Experience with Cisco Meraki software and networking an asset
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment, ability to multitask
- Able to work in small spaces if needed
- Physical, mental and manual dexterity required for extended periods working at a desk
- Ability to work in warehouses to troubleshoot staff computers
- Local travel required
- Overtime as required
