IT Project Manager Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace, defence, and space industries. We are currently seeking a qualified IT Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will lead a large-scale office relocation initiative in the Greater Toronto Area, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of IT infrastructure and AV system transitions while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Location: Greater Toronto Area Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of an office relocation project • Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, Facilities, and Business Units • Manage external vendors and service providers to ensure timely, high-quality delivery • Oversee the migration of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and AV/meeting room equipment • Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during the move • Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and leadership • Support post-relocation troubleshooting and system validation • Maintain detailed documentation of schedules, equipment lists, and changes • Ensure all systems are fully operational post-move Basic Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on office relocations • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and external vendors • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and AV systems • Experience developing detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • PMP, PRINCE2 is preferred, or equivalent project management certification • Availability during non-standard hours (evenings/weekends) during critical phases • Ability to travel between multiple office locations and navigate server rooms/lab environments <div> </div> Preferred Qualifications • Experience in lab or regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, aerospace, biotech) • Familiarity with meeting room booking systems and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Crestron) • Experience with inventory management and equipment logistics • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field • Experience supporting post-relocation user support and troubleshooting <div> </div> Please note: Interested applicants must apply directly to the employer to be considered for this position: <a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a> The subject of the email should be “IT Project Manager Application”.
