We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Procurement Specialist to support our IT Operations team. In this role, you will manage end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring that our teams have the tools and technology they need to succeed. From handling ServiceNow requests and sourcing IT equipment to negotiating with vendors and maintaining cost efficiency, this position plays a critical role in keeping Gateway’s IT operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Ticket Management
Monitor and respond to procurement-related ServiceNow tickets with urgency and clear communication.
Collaborate with IT Operations to prioritize requests based on business needs and impact.
Vendor Relations & Equipment Procurement
Source IT hardware, software, and services while ensuring competitive pricing and quality.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery timelines with vendors.
Maintain strong vendor relationships and evaluate new supplier opportunities.
Inventory & Asset Management
Assist with accurate tracking of IT equipment and supplies.
Support asset lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, and retirement.
Cost Management
Identify cost-saving opportunities through alternative sourcing strategies.
Support budgeting and forecasting for IT procurement.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier agreements, and compliance documentation.
Generate reports on procurement activity, cost analysis, and delivery performance.
Compliance & Policy Adherence
Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
Stay informed on procurement best practices and company policy updates.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
A solid background in IT procurement, purchasing, or supply chain is a key requirement.
Familiarity with ERP and procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Experience with procurement ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred).
Strong knowledge of IT equipment, software, and services procurement.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Primarily office-based with extended periods at a desk.
