Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of irrigation techniques and equipment, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and underground systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot issues with irrigation systems and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Adjust system components to meet the specific watering needs of different landscapes.
- Collaborate with landscape teams to ensure proper integration of irrigation systems with overall landscape design.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, installations, and maintenance schedules.
- Educate clients on proper irrigation practices and system care to promote water conservation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in irrigation installation or maintenance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of various irrigation methods and equipment is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
- Certification in irrigation technology or related fields is advantageous but not essential.
