ABOUT THE POSITION
The Inventory Supervisor oversees and supervises operations teams, including warehouse, inventory control, administration, and accounts payable. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring the timely and efficient movement of goods. The Inventory Supervisor coaches, mentors, and trains team members, ensuring they meet performance expectations and KPIs.
This role identifies opportunities for efficiency improvements across all facets of the operation, collaborates with the centralized purchasing team, manages inventory levels, addresses purchase order and vendor cost discrepancies, and oversees inventory management processes.

DUTIES
- Supervises the warehouse, inventory control, administration, and accounts payable teams.
- Provides coaching, mentoring, and training to team members as necessary.
- Works with the Branch Manager to ensure team members meet predetermined performance expectations, KPIs, and job duties/tasks, holding them accountable accordingly.
- Reviews, investigates, and approves supplier payables as needed.
- Identifies opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies across all facets of the operation, including paper flow, processes, procedures, duties, and tasks.
- Maintains accurate inventory records by tracking stock levels, regularly reviewing the database, reconciling discrepancies, and updating with new stock to ensure optimal inventory and minimize losses.
- Manages inventory control processes, regularly reviewing and identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations for changes to further enhance accuracy and reduce losses.
- Communicates with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of goods by regularly checking shipment status and resolving any issues.
- Tracks and manages incoming and outgoing shipments through close collaboration with the distribution team to ensure their proper receipt, processing, and tracking.
- Prepares regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies by regularly reviewing records, analyzing data, and providing insights into the inventory state.
ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in Inventory, Distribution, or Operational procedures is required.
- Familiarity with Supply Chain processes (e.g., inventory management systems and processes) is essential.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical ability with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items may be required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
