Responsibilities
Supervises the shipping, receiving and issuing of stores items to and from stores to maintenance units and satellite stores locations. Maintains safe work practices including prompt accident/incident reporting and ensuring staff are adequately trained and in compliance with safety regulations. Monitors inventory, ensures that transactions are recorded in the computerized inventory systems and resolves discrepancies. Schedules pick-up and delivery of parts by parts delivery and contract truck drivers. Coordinates the disbursement of core parts to the repair shop and arranges for needed supplies and materials. Participates in various planning, expansion and disposal projects.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
High school graduation plus successful completion of an Industrial Engines and Equipment Partsperson apprenticeship program with additional courses in Operations Management, warehouse and inventory management or a diploma from a recognized institute of technology in Business Operations Management or a certification in Production and Inventory Management or Supply Chain or an acceptable equivalent plus additional courses in supervisory techniques basic accounting and Microsoft Word and Excel.
EXPERIENCE:
Position requires three and a half (3 ½) years previous experience working in either a large parts and materials handling and warehousing operation or handling parts and components in a commercial fleet operation. A further period of up to one (1) year in the position is required to gain knowledge of Coast Mountain Bus Company’s policy and procedures, parts utilized and all inventory control operations.

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

This position works predominately on-site.
Rate of Pay
Salary $111,422 - $134,243 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
