Responsibilities:
NSITEP La Ronge requires Sessional Supervisors for pre-service teachers (field involvement, internship) in Beauval, Île-à la Crosse, Pinehouse, and Cumberland House. Sessional Supervisors will be assigned to supervise pre-service teachers in the field through the NSITEP La Ronge office.
Sessional supervisors are expected to be available to visit and provide support/guidance as needed by the pre-service teacher and/or cooperating teacher for the duration of placement. Must have access to a personal vehicle.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a degree in Education with significant teaching experience. Candidates must possess proficiency with Saskatchewan curriculum documents and have understanding of current pedagogical approaches in the K-12 system, specifically culturally responsive pedagogy.
Remuneration: U of R Sessional wage grid
Location: Beauval, Île-à la Crosse, Pinehouse, Cumberland House
