Join our Sts'its'áp'new̓as Employment & Future Skills team in supporting Sḵwx̱wú7mesh members to reach their full employment potential through culturally-grounded services. Your work will help strengthen our Úxwumixw by ensuring accurate data collection that honors both modern systems and snew̓íyelh (teachings). As the first point of contact at Stitsma Career Centre, you'll bring wenáxws (respect) to every interaction.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate intake and data collection for Stitsma Career Centre clients with cultural sensitivity
- Schedule client appointments and conduct interviews using both digital and paper systems
- Maintain accurate electronic and hardcopy records while ensuring confidentiality
- Prepare data reports to support program evaluation and funding requirements
- Provide welcoming reception services and answer client inquiries with care
- Support administrative team members during peak periods and staff absences
- Uphold workplace safety standards and Squamish Nation policies
- Contribute to team goals that align with Sḵwx̱wú7mesh self-determination
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years experience in data coordination or administrative support roles
- Proficiency with database systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Experience working with Indigenous communities preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends
- Cultural humility and respect for Sḵwx̱wú7mesh values, sovereignty, and self-determination.

Salary: $44,000 - $61,500
Candidates are typically offered compensation between the beginning to the midpoint of the range. We are committed to providing a fair and equitable package that reflects the value an individual brings to the organization.
