Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing insulation in residential and commercial buildings to enhance energy efficiency and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of building materials, techniques, and safety protocols. The Insulator will work closely with other construction professionals to ensure high-quality installations that meet project specifications.
Duties
- Install various types of insulation materials including fiberglass and cellulose in walls and ceilings.
- Take part in other various construction projects, including concrete, framing, decks, fences, etc.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to cut and shape insulation materials.
- Apply caulking or sealants to prevent air leaks and enhance insulation effectiveness.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in insulation installation or related construction fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with drywall installation techniques is a plus.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Requirements
- Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be comfortable working in tight spaces.
- Must be slim enough to fit into tight spaces, specifically when accessing an attic through a roof vent.
