As a member of the sales team, the Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in supporting our growing business by ensuring seamless order processing, excellent customer service, and effective communication between departments. The successful candidate will work out of our office located in Milton, ON.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Order Processing:
Accurately prepare sales orders, invoices, and shipping documentation for residential and commercial garage door products. - Customer Service & Sales Support:
Assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and order processing to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships. - Quoting & Pricing:
Prepare quotes and respond to pricing questions, ensuring alignment with company standards. - Documentation & Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, orders, and inventory-related information. - Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative assistance to the sales and operations teams as needed. - Client Relationship Management:
Follow up on orders and nurture ongoing business relationships. - Coordination with Warehouse & Production:
Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery of orders. - Selling:
Sell residential and commercial garage doors and related materials for installation, meeting customer needs and contributing to business growth. - Compliance:
Adhere to company procedures, safety standards, and relevant policies at all times. - Other Duties as Assigned by Management:
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the sales department and overall business operations.
You are our ideal candidate if you have:
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service role (garage door industry experience is an asset).
- Strong communication skills in English (French is an asset).
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Basic math and invoicing capabilities.
- Proficiency with computers and ability to learn internal systems (Decision Builder/ERP knowledge is a plus).
- A customer-first mindset and a drive to exceed expectations.
