Role Summary
The Inside Sales Support responsibility is to support the Sales Team’s efforts to serve our customers. This customer facing role will support customer and prospect requests in a timely fashion while keeping Sales Team informed. The Inside Sales Support Representative will apply processes for value creation through product selection, application validation and our sales process to support customers. The Inside Sales Support role is a central contact who interfaces with all internal departments to ensure the utmost customer satisfaction.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinate support resources to ensure customer and prospect needs are promptly met.
o Assist AE on skid project quotes and orders.
o Field basic technical calls
o Interface with suppliers on custom opportunities.
o Support inquiries from initial request through final order by ensuring all techcnical, commercial and delivery aspects from the customer and for the company are considered so that order and delivery process excellence is achived.
o Support customer and respond to questions through delivery and installation.
- Field phone calls from customers and prospects.
- Utilize and update CRM on customer and prospect interactions.
- Follow up quotes to help secure orders.
- Returns, trial pumps and trade show equipment coordination.
- Act as a back-up for CS team, when needed.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of the full range of WMFTS capabilities.
- Contribute to the honing of our marketing message, operational improvement, and new product development through voice of customer feedback and ongoing communication of successes, failures, and opportunities within the territory.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
This is what you’ll need to be successful in this role
- University degree or College diploma (or related work experience) in a technical field with a minimum of two year’s related experience.
- Inside Sales and/or technical support experience.
- Experience in Process Industries of Life Science sectors.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English required to communicate with internal and external contacts. French language skills an asset but not mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high professionalism.
- Strong time management skills.
- Proficient in Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and MS Teams.
- Experienced ERP user, preferably Microsoft AX/Dynamics
- Must be able to travel occasionally with air travel and overnight stays including occasional weekends being required.
