Coco Bakery is seeking a creative and strategic leader to join our team as an Innovation Manager. In this role, a candidate will drive the ideation and development of industry-leading products and processes that align with our purpose of crafting delightful treats, which transform the ordinary into extraordinarily sweet moments.
The Opportunity:
A strong candidate would have excellent product development and project management skills, with experience coming from years of working for a food manufacturing company. Ideating, commercializing, manufacturing, and fulfilling would be the ultimate sequence of the role. A candidate that is interested in the cadence of the role should be eager and energized to continue it all over again once successfully completed.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the product development team to create new ideas and exciting samples
- Work with select large customers to develop new and unique customer programs, SOPs and training to develop deep relationships and grow our programs
- Introduce the ideas to the Business Development team, implement feedback and work on go-forward strategies
- Reformulate existing products
- Source unique on-trend inputs to elevate current and new products
- Focus on and source packaging for everyday and limited time items
- Manage internal laboratory folders
- Develop a multi-year product pipeline
Key Qualifications & Competencies:
