The Ts'its'ixwnítway Member Services Department is seeking an experienced leader to manage our Income Assistance program during this important 6-month term. As Income Assistance Manager, you'll oversee a dedicated team providing essential financial support to Squamish Nation members in need, while upholding our values of compassion and community care.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a team of 8+ staff delivering Income Assistance services
- Ensure compliant administration of ISC program guidelines
- Manage program budgets and resource allocation
- Develop service improvements for vulnerable populations
- Maintain accurate records and reporting
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning
- Provide mentorship and staff development
- Uphold Squamish Nation policies and values
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in employment services, project coordination, or Indigenous workforce development.
- Knowledge of Impact Benefit Agreements (IBAs), labour markets, and/or trades training programs.
- Strong ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders (employers, clients, community partners).
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on data management, reporting, and project timelines.
- Cultural humility and understanding of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh values and community priorities.
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends and travel between North Vancouver/Squamish sites.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.

Salary: $75,000 - $ 112,500
Candidates are typically offered compensation between the beginning to the midpoint of the range. We are committed to providing a fair and equitable package that reflects the value an individual brings to the organization.
