Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Housing Support Worker to join our Saskatoon team. This part-time, casual role provides onsite support to residents in our housing program—helping individuals stabilize, access resources, and build toward their goals.
The ideal candidate brings a trauma-informed, harm reduction–based approach and can respond calmly in dynamic or crisis situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support for residents’ daily needs and wellness
- Support addiction recovery using harm reduction principles
- Connect residents with community services and submit referrals
- Monitor building safety and provide crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings
Qualifications
- Education or experience in human services, mental health, or addictions
- Experience in case management and/or housing support (preferred)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with trauma-informed, culturally safe care
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Lived experience is valued
