As a Housekeeping Supervisor your attention to detail will show the Housekeeping team that you are committed to providing luxury Guest experiences. Starting Rate: $24.00 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $28.76
Job Duties Include:
- Deliver consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests, addressing concerns promptly and escalating when necessary.
- Oversee and coordinate the property's deep cleaning and preventative maintenance project, ensuring it runs efficiently, aligns with brand standards, and is completed on schedule.
- Conduct preventative maintenance audits and lead specialized cleaning initiatives, working closely with the Engineering team and the Front Desk Rooms Blocker to ensure accurate room placement Out of Order (OOO) for scheduled maintenance.
- Lead daily housekeeping operations, ensuring service standards are upheld, guest rooms and VIP arrivals are inspected, and rooms are ready by 4:00 PM daily.
- Supervise, coach, and train team members, providing feedback, performance reviews, and recognition while fostering a positive and accountable work culture.
- Manage scheduling, inventory, maintenance reporting, and compliance with health, safety, and operational protocols.
- Collaborate with Front Office and other departments to ensure smooth communication, operational efficiency, and enhanced guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in hotel housekeeping
- Experience with Hotel Property Management Systems, specifically Oracle
- Familiarity with Amadeus (HotSOS) Housekeeping Software (asset)
- Strong training and coaching skills in housekeeping operations
- Ability to perform inspections and ensure adherence to cleanliness and brand standards
- Knowledge of scheduling, room assignment, and workflow coordination in housekeeping
- Skilled in conducting performance monitoring and implementing housekeeping procedures
- Ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency in high-volume hotel environments
