Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hospitality, with an emphasis on both residential and industrial cleaning practices.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure they meet established cleanliness standards.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and properly presented.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in deep cleaning projects as required, including industrial cleaning tasks.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members to promote a friendly atmosphere.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning protocols effectively.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
