Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendants to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in creating a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to meet hotel cleanliness standards.
- Replace linens, towels, and other room amenities according to hotel procedures.
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and paper products in guest rooms.
- Clean and sanitize public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms.
- Maintain cleanliness in back-of-house areas such as laundry rooms and storage.
- Report maintenance issues and broken equipment to the appropriate departments.
- Follow health and safety regulations, using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and professionally.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience an asset, but not required – training provided.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must reside in Iqaluit or be willing to relocate (relocation assistance available for candidates within Canada).
