As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for Members and guests by maintaining high standards of sanitation, presentation, and hospitality throughout the Club’s facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet Members and guests courteously and provide assistance or directions as needed.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in Member and Guest areas (locker rooms, restrooms, laundry room, and shared spaces).
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces, countertops, benches, sinks, mirrors, and amenities.
- Perform cleaning tasks such as mopping, dusting, sweeping, scrubbing, and garbage removal.
- Clean interior and exterior lower-level windows.
- Manage towel service: laundering, folding, and restocking.
- Assist with Club event setups and seasonal decoration as required.
- Log lost and found items and report facility issues to Supervisor.
- Handle cleaning products safely and store supplies properly.
- Assist the Maintenance team with light support tasks.
- Other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Management.
WHAT YOU BRING?
- Completion of secondary school education.
- Experience with cleaning equipment (vacuums, mops, buffers).
- Knowledge of safe handling and storage of cleaning agents.
- High attention to detail and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude, team spirit, and reliability.
- Clear criminal background check.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Frequent bending, walking, climbing stairs, reaching, and standing for long periods.
- Exposure to moderate noise, cleaning agents, and varying indoor/outdoor weather conditions.
HOURS OF WORK:
- Flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Shifts may take place at either the City Clubhouse or Island Clubhouse (with launch access from 150 Cherry St.).
- Full-Time candidates must have open availability and be available to work 5 days per week.
