Position Summary
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused Housekeeper/Cleaner to become part of our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating tidy, comfortable, and well-organized living spaces. You’ll work primarily in residential homes, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and clear communication to ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a full range of cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Tidy and organize rooms to improve both appearance and usability.
- Wash and care for linens, ensuring they remain fresh and presentable.
- Discuss client preferences and customize cleaning tasks to meet their needs.
- Manage schedules effectively to complete work on time without sacrificing quality.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, using cleaning products responsibly.
- Offer light hospitality support to help clients feel at ease in their homes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English; additional languages (e.g., French) are an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to organization.
- Experience in housekeeping, residential cleaning, or hospitality is an advantage but not required.
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to maintain positive client relationships.
- Openness to learning new cleaning practices and service methods.
- Basic cooking abilities are considered a bonus for households that may require meal prep.
