Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in residential settings. This role requires strong time management and organizational skills, as well as a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Proficiency in English is required, while knowledge of French is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use.
- Prepare meals as needed, demonstrating basic cooking skills to meet dietary preferences.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences.
- Maintain a high standard of hospitality by creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests.
- Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning products and equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping preferred.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly environment.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills in English; French language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being part of a team when necessary.
