We are looking to fill the position of Hotel Housekeeping Attendant at Fernie Alpine Resort. Our guest walks into their clean room, takes a deep breath, and immediately relaxes. You are the heart of the hotel, giving the gift of a place our guests dream to be. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be physically capable, and have excellent organizational and time management skills. You Will:
- Provide room attendant duties for two resort hotels
- Provide laundry service support as required
- Provide janitorial duties for main lodge areas as required
- Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms including all linen changes, interior windows, bathrooms, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking.
- Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
- Meet guest requests in a timely and friendly manner
- Ensure the highest level of service and guest experience
- Provide non-stop teamwork with your teammates and managers
- Know and adhere to the policies, rules, and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
- Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
You Have:
- Past experience is an asset but not required, we will train!
- The ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment
- A reliable and responsible attitude
- The ability to Bend, Lift, Push, and Pull up to 40 lbs
- Competitive wage: $20.00-22.00/hour (cleaning bonuses and tips available, dependent on performance)
