Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper for Days Inn and Motel 6 Brooks to join our teams. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and a passion for providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas, hallways, and back-of-house spaces.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to meet health and safety standards.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring linens are clean and well-maintained.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or similar hospitality roles is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and janitorial practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and colleagues.
- Experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is a plus.
