Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to oversee all aspects of our hotel operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage staff, optimize operational efficiency, and enhance guest satisfaction while maintaining the hotel's brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction, increase occupancy rates, and maximize revenue.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial management to ensure profitability.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to foster a positive work environment and promote professional development.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to meet operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain quality services.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance the overall guest experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of hotel management software and property management systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and staff at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
- A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
