We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of newly renovated Comfort Suites London. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all departments while maintaining high standards of service and financial results.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of hotel operations, including Sales, front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
Set appropriate objectives for the hotel's performance including those relating to guest satisfaction ratings, RevPar and occupancy,
Develop a plan to achieve these objectives and track performance against them.
Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and manage expenses including on-property costs associated with rooms, housekeeping, and food and beverage operations to improve profitability.
Manage all human resources activities including recruitment, training, schedules, coaching, supervision, payroll, performance management and meetings.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in all areas of the hotel.
Address guest complaints and feedback promptly to maintain high service standards.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the hotel through various channels and increase visibility.
Develop/maintain knowledge of market trends, competition, and customers, including upcoming events in the London area.
Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local businesses to enhance operational efficiency.
Experience
At least 10 years of experience as a Hotel General Manager.
Strong understanding of hotel management software and property management systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on market trends.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
