Your role will help influence how guests feel the moment they walk in and how they remember us when they leave.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests as they arrive and thank them as they leave
- Manage the host stand - maintain cleanliness, organization, and stocking
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using our POS and booking system
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with FOH and BOH teams to coordinate seating, open menu counts, and daily reservation updates
- Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
- Assist with resetting tables and supporting servers during service
- Uphold Plush’s standards for hospitality and customer service at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hotel, in a host or guest service role preferred
- Valid Smart Serve certification required
- Strong communication skills, demonstrated through professional and friendly interactions with guests and team members
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Ability to stay organized and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
