Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the restaurant and assisting with reservations or inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist guests with any requests or concerns, demonstrating excellent guest services skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, ensuring it is inviting for guests.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for managing reservations and orders is preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette to handle inquiries professionally.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and staff alike.
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is a plus.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to help create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
