Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with reservations and inquiries.
- Provide information about menu items and specials to guests.
- Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Assist in training new staff members on guest service protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
- Familiarity with food service operations and POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette with a friendly demeanor.
- A passion for providing outstanding guest services.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
