Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth operations at the front of the restaurant. This position requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding hospitality.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and dining area.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring every guest has a positive dining experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job.
- A passion for hospitality and guest services, with a commitment to providing excellent customer experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
